William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, United Kingdom, to John and Mary Shakespeare on the 26th of April in 1564. William Shakespeare passed in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 23, 1616, at the age of 52. He was an English playwright, poet, and actor, generally considered the English language’s finest writer and greatest dramatist.

Richard III and Henry V are two of his ten historical dramas. Among his tragedies, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, and Macbeth are the most renowned until today. He may also have seen plays by joining theatrical groups that visited Stratford in the 1560s and 70s. At the age of 18, William tied the knot to Anne Hathaway, and the couple had three children.

Shakespeare’s cause of death remained questionable. A few months after signing his last will, he died of fever. Many people noted that he was in a good health prior to his death. The bubonic plague was at its rampant during the time of this death, however, it was never claimed it was the cause of his death.
