Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925, in Nebraska, US. He was a human rights activist advocating for black empowerment. This is a collection list of Malcolm X quotes. But before that, let’s learn a little bit more about him.

As a teenager, he had to go through the foster care system and engage in petty crimes like breaking and entering. He was sentenced to prison for 10 years in 1946. He criticizes black activist Martin Luther King Jr but eventually explained that he is in the same fight as him with a different approach.

When his parole ended in 1952, he connected with Elijah Muhammad and became an assistant minister to promote the Nation of Islam to the black community. Due to his popularity in the Nation of Islam community, the FBI deemed him connected to communism and put him under surveillance. In 1960 Malcolm X left the Nation of Islam and embraced Sunni Islam.

Malcolm X became an important figure in black activism, fighting for the equality of African-Americans.
